So many of you have asked for the words of the Blossoming Lotus sequence, so here they are. I can’t wait for you to all join in next time.
The lotus starts its day in bud
As the sun comes up
So the petals open
By midday the lotus opens its face completely to the sunshine
It draws in light and strength through its petals to its stem and roots
A gentle breeze sways the little flower first to one side
Then the other
The breeze can turn into a strong wind
But no matter how far the little flower bends
It always manages to keep control
Many tiny fish swim among the roots 🙂 🙂
All around there are tiny insects
They hover overhead
The insects look down at the beautiful flowers
All kinds of birds sing peacefully
And occasionally the smaller birds land on the lotus to rest
As daylight falls the petals of the lotus fold upwards
Closing tightly to seal in the goodness of the day
And resting peacefully until dawn.
