*** Holidays ***

Don’t forget I’m off (AGAIN!) next week. There are classes running until 9pm this Thursday 2nd June and I return on Monday 13th June at 12:30 at The Parish Centre, Stonegravels. My next holiday isn’t until September and I only have one week off in December. I don’t expect you to remember all of this, I will remind you all nearer the time.

*** A Point to Note ***

I love my job and consider myself so lucky to be doing what I do for a living. Whilst my classes are informal and we often have a laugh I do take my job extremely seriously, particularly when it comes to the safety and health of my students. I have a duty of care to each and every one of you to ensure that you aren’t doing anything that might compromise your well being. It saddens me that occasionally I have to consider asking someone to stop attending my classes because they’re repeatedly disregarding my instructions and obviously experiencing a great deal of pain in certain postures.
My reputation and integrity are so important to me as teaching Yoga is my livelihood and I would be devastated if someone else’s behaviour put that at risk. Hold that thought 🙂

*** Monday Lunchtime Class ***

Monday lunchtime classes at Boythorpe Community Centre wil not be taking place until further notice. The centre has had to close temporarily at very short notice. I have been able to accommodate those people who have block booked. However, if you are a drop-in student or you use these sessions to make up for ones you have missed I might not be able to help. We’re hoping things will be back to how they should be in June. Please watch this space for further updates.

*** Diary Update 2016 ***

I’ve already planned my time off for 2016. So here are the dates I won’t be teaching: –

Monday 21st to Thursday 24th March
Monday 28th March
Monday 2nd May
Thursday 5th May
Monday 30th May
Monday 6th to Thursday 9th June
Monday 29th August
Monday 19th to Thursday 22nd September

Regarding the festive break this year I will have a better idea about the availability of the venues nearer the time so I haven’t planned for that period yet. I’m hoping not to have as much time off as December 2015!
I don’t expect you to remember all of this information. Of course I will let you know as each holiday approaches.

*** Yoga Lottery ***

I am happy to announce that during 2015 our Yoga lottery raised almost £300 for the following charities: –

Pathways of Chesterfield
Ashgate Hospice
Kids n Cancer
Anthony Nolan
Zoological Society of London
Refuge
Chesterfield Food Bank
John Eastwood Hospice

Keep buying the tickets people. For just £1 you may just win a six week block of classes but more importantly more charities will benefit.
